Ok, but still—where’s my money?
Here are the most common reasons that a referral bonus might not be paid out.
1. The referred friend did not apply with us
2. The referred friend signed up, but did not apply using the referrer’s unique referral invite link.
3. The referred friend clicked on the referral link and started to sign up, completed registration, but never fulfilled the requirements of the specific promotion.
4. The referred friend’s application has been been disqualified
5. The referred friend was already a Tax Advice client or had a Tax Advice profile.
6. The referrer has already received a referral bonus for this referred friend—we don’t offer multiple bonuses for the same referred friend, even if they sign up for multiple tax years.
A referred friend signed up and met the requirements, but they didn’t go through the referrer’s unique referral link. Can you fix it?
Unfortunately, no. We can’t manually or retroactively link a referral afterwards.
How can I keep track of all of my referrals?
Thank you for referring friends! You can view referrals in the “Referral Dashboard” section of your Tax Advice profile.
